Today, Thursday, September 18 2014, the Baltic Dry Index climbed down 35 ( 3.1% ) points to ,1,189 points.
Baltic Dry Index (BDI) is a measure of the cost of shipping all over the world for dry bulk cargo. It is calculated daily by the London-based Baltic Exchange, based on the current freight rates.
